He didn't have to hit her AT ALL. Yes she may have hit him first, but why didn't he just leave the car. He could have just pulled over and walked off....leaving her in the car. He's Chris Brown, I'm sure he has homies he could have called for a ride or something. (I don't mean to be sarcastic, but...seriously)<BR/><BR/>A serious discussion regarding violence against black women in particular, needs to take place. I'm just sorry it had to come about using these two young celebs as examples. Rhiana has her issues....but I'm more worried about the no-named victims of domestic violence who go unchampioned by the media. And this is expecially true for Black women and other women of color. <BR/><BR/>Whether provoked or un-provoked, it wasn't right. The dude must have lost it, and a relationship like this is not healthy. I hope both of them 1. Grow up, 2. walk away from each other and learn how to deal with their emotional dependencies, and 3. learn from this mistake and change whatever it is about themselves that made this happen. <BR/><BR/>Sorry, love but it's just not that simple. Regardless of "what happend" there's no excuse for that. I've taken marshall arts on and off for my whole life...and I believe that I can handle myself pretty well, but I couldn't take on a kid of Chris Brown's size, not even on my best day!
