THE KING IS DOWN BUT NOT OUT

Reports have been surfacing all weekend long about "King of Comedy" Bernie Mac's hospitalization. Despite what has been reported, Bernie's publicist has come out and said that Bernie is being treated for pneumonia at a Chicago hospital and is responding well to treatment.

I most certainly hope that Bernie is doing okay as I seem to remember him having a bout with pneumonia a few years back.

In Black Hollywood News, Bernie just wrapped on two films: "Old Dogs" starring Robin Williams and John Travolta, and "Soul Men" starring Samuel L. Jackson and Sharon Leal. Below is a pic from "Soul Men."
