MAMA I WANT TO SING

I could have sworn this movie had a date that it was going to hit theaters but from what I'm hearing, it's now going straight to DVD. This is really unfortunate because they have an all star cast. The film stars Lynn Whitfield, Patti Labelle, Hill Harper, and Ben Vereen.

I wonder if Ciara's less than stellar vocals has anything to do with this. I know in the play they had some serious talent, vocally. Things that make you go hmmm...
