ON A POLITICAL SIDENOTE:

I am sad to report that I received a phone call on Thursday telling me that I would not be selected as Obama's Vice President (sigh). Obama decided to go with someone with a little more experience in Foreign Policy, so he selected Joe Biden. I guess my trip to Seoul, Korea didn't count...

Anyhoo, from what I've found in researching Joe Biden this week, he seems like my kinda people. Says what's on his mind and is pretty well versed in the goings on in Washington. I like the fact that he's never lived there and has maintained his Delaware residence throughout his many years in the Senate. I think he's gonna be the yin to Obama's yang and is gonna really push Obama to take over. Though I really thought I would have been a better choice.
