THIS WEEKEND AT THE BOX OFFICE

The controversial "Tropic Thunder" comes in at number one to finally top off "The Dark Knight" by making $26 million over the weekend and taking its total since it opened on Wednesday to $37 million.

"The Dark Knight" finally fell to second place with $16.8 million to bring it's total to $471.5 million.

In third place, we have George Lucas' "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" which opened in third place with $15.5 million.

Next in line came New Regency's horror film "Mirrors" with $11.1 million.

Lastly, Sony's "Pineapple Express" lost a little steam and came in fifth place with $10 million to bring it's total to $62.9 million.
