VIVENDI PICKS UP DANIEL'S 'TENNESSEE'

Good news for producer turned director Lee Daniels (Monster's Ball) comes today as it was announced that his latest film "Tennessee" has been picked up by Vivendi Entertainment. The film stars Mariah Carey-Cannon and Ethan Peck and is about two brothers who embark on a journey from New Mexico to Tennessee to find their estranged father. Carey-Cannon plays an aspiring singer who flees her abusive husband when she leaves with the duo.

The film is scheduled to be released in December.
