A few celebs came out last night to support Barack Obama at the Black and White Gala Fundraiser held in his honor. VIP donors paid $2,300 each to attend the swanky affair for Obama at a private home in Beverly Hills. The party is said to have raised more than $200,000 for the Obama campaign. While a gospel choir performed a song that was written as an ode to the campaign.
This is only the beginning of celebs showing up for Obama as many of them are expected to attend the Democratic National Convention next week in Denver. Sounds like it's gonna be a blast. My ticket (for the convention) must have gotten lost in the mail. I mean I am gonna be the Vice President (in my mind).
