OPENING NIGHT OF THE DNCC

So history will be made this week at the Democratic National Convention when Barack Obama accepts the nomination to run for President of the United States. Kicking off things tonight in Denver will be a performance by John Legend, a slew of democratic speakers, and the set concludes with a speech by Barack's lovely wife Michelle Obama.

As far as the nightlife, Kanye West, Spike Lee, and Ben Affleck are all said to be hosting parties to coincide with this week's festivities. Sounds like it's gonna be a fun time. Today's activities will air on TV One, CNN, and MSNBC. Afterwards, TV One will be airing their "TV One Live: DNC After Party!" to be hosted by Michael Eric Dyson, Jacqui Reid, and several other well known black folks in the biz.
