THIS WEEKEND AT THE BOX OFFICE

THE DARK KNIGHT held onto it's batalicious beatdown on the boxoffice by pulling in $43.8 Million to bring it's total up to a whopping $395 Million

Coming in 2nd place, we have another unneccesary sequel with "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" which just missed "The Dark Knight" with $42.5 Million


No comment for this movie other than it came in at #3 with $16.3 Million, making it's total for the last two weeks $63 Million...sigh


One of my favorite actresses, Meryl Streep, and her new film "Mamma Mia," an adaptation from the musical, came in at #4 with $13.1 Million, bringing it's total so far up to $88 Million.


And rounding out the weekend box office results by coming in at #5 we have another Brendan Fraiser flick "Journey to the Center of the Earth" which pulled in $6.88 Million, making it's total $73.1 Million.
