THE WEEKEND BOXOFFICE

"The Dark Knight" continues to plow full steam ahead by maintaining it's first place marker. It made 26 million over the weekend bringing it's grand total to 442 million.


Coming in second place we have the new stoner Judd Apatow flick "Pineapple Express" with 22.4 million bringing it's total to 40.5 million.


In third place, we have "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" which pulled in 16.1 million over the weekend to bring it's grand total up to 70.7 million.


Next to last, we have something that's rare to find in Hollywood these days, a chick flick. "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2" comes in with 10.8 million to bring it's total to 19.7 million.


In fifth place, we have "Step Brothers" which brought in 8.9 million to bring it's total to 80.9 million.
