F. GARY GRAY PICKS UP WHERE DARABONT LEFT OFF...

Director F. Gary Gray, has picked up a new gig by taking over the reigns of the upcoming thriller "Law Abiding Citizen." The original director Frank Darabont recently fell off of the film which pretty much caused a feeding frenzy amongst agents and directors. Gray came out on top and will be in the directors chair when things get shaking. The film stars Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, John Singleton was interested but Gray got the part. Darabont co-wrote the script but in true Hollywood fashion, had creative differences with the producers which evolved into his ultimate departure from the film. I tell you, Hollywood is a trip. But congrats to Gray for jumping on to what is sure to be another blockbuster.
