THIS WEEKEND AT THE BOX OFFICE

Coming in at #1 this weekend is "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" with $29 Million. Who knew it would take a movie about a talking Chihuahua to breathe some life into the slowly dying box office over the last few weeks.

In second place is the thriller "Eagle Eye" starring Shia LeBeouf. It pulled in $17.7 Million dollars to bring its total up to $54.6 Million. I'm still in shock that a goofy Disney Kid like Shia has been able to flip his career into major adult roles without starring in a movie that ends with "Musical."

The number three spot goes to the new teeny bopper flick "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist." It brought in $12 Million dollars.

Next on the charts is the movie "Nights in Rodanthe" which stars Richard Gere and Diane Lane. It pulled in $7.36 Million dollars to bring it's total to $25.1 Million.

Last on the list is, "Appaloosa" a film that I have not seen any advertising for but still it managed to pull in $5.01 Million dollars.
