In even more sad news today, according to multiple news sources, Barack Obama's grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, has lost her battle with cancer and died earlier today. She was 86.Obama has often spoke of how big of a role his grandmother played in his upbringing and made him into the man he is today. I know she had to have been proud to bring him all the way to this point in his life.
My condolences to Barack and his family at this difficult time.
