One of the original cast members to the long running show ER, Eriq La Salle, is returning to the show to direct an episode. According to Variety, La Salle left the show in '02 to pursue writing and directing for television and features. This is the final season of ER.
La Salle's recent directing credits include two episodes of "Law & Order: SVU" and "Without A Trace." as well as the HBO film "Rebound." La Salle's next acting gig comes when he stars in Hallmark Channel's "Relative Stranger," which airs next March.
