After spending fourteen seasons on the tube, giving us the funny alternate to SNL, it's being reported that MAD TV is being cancelled by Fox. Despite this show being one of the more diverse sketch comedy shows on the air since "In Living Color," the ratings haven't been anything to write home about and apparently has been hanging on by a thin string for sometime now.
Despite the impending cancellation, MAD TV producers aren't taking this lightly. It's being reported that they are already looking at other networks to possibly pick up where Fox left off. This is similar to another recently dismissed Fox show "King of the Hill." Fox is said to have cancelled the show for economic reasons.
