Today's 'Black in the Days' flick is the sequel to the massive hit film "House Party." Although it wasn't quite as successful as it's predecessor, "House Party 2" still stood out for it's soundtrack if nothing else.
It seems like recent years, our films don't really focus as big on the music as we used to - which I think is a mistake. As a writer, I can't tell you how big of an influence music has over me when I'm writing. I think this is the biggest thing I miss from films in the 80's and 90's, even if the movie sucked, there was a bumping soundtrack to groove to....those were the days...
