In even more exciting news for black folks this week, actresses Taraji P. Henson and Viola Davis have both been nominated for Oscars for Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role. Henson was nominated for her performance as Brad Pitt's mom in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button." Davis was nominated for her performance in the role of Mrs. Miller in the 60's drama "Doubt."
I know both ladies are having a helluva Thursday and I want to congratulate them both on a job well done!
