OBAMA DOES DO-OVER OATH

For those of you who were shaking their heads at the television when U.S. Chief Justice John Roberts led President Obama into a series of flubs throughout the 35 word oath that he performed on Tuesday, you might feel a little more at ease to know that yesterday evening, Obama was sworn in a second time. This time, Robert's got the words right and even wore the robe to perform the ceremony.

"We decided that because it was so much fun ...," Obama joked to reporters who followed press secretary Robert Gibbs into the room. No TV camera crews or news photographers were allowed in. Here's what happened...

Roberts put on his black robe.

CHIEF ROBERTS
Are you ready to take the oath?

BARACK OBAMA
Yes, I am. And we're going to do it very slowly."

Roberts then led Obama through the oath without any missteps.

White House counsel Greg Craig called the do-over "an abundance of caution." I call it something to keep the hater's at bay. Those idiots over on Fox News already had hate dripping from their mouths with statements about Obama not really being the President since the words weren't said in the right order.

Keep in mind that this is despite a little thing called the Constitution which pretty much says that on January 19th at Noon, the President-Elect becomes the President whether he's being sworn in or getting a lapdance (okay maybe not those exact words). So at 12:09, when Barack was being sworn in, he was already President. Sigh...when will it stop.
