This weekend at the box office was pretty interesting if you ask me as it seemed that almost every movie was almost a tie. Coming in at number one is suprisingly "
Paul Blart: Mall Cop," starring
Kevin James. The movie brought in
$33.8 Million buckaroos.
Coming in at
#2 is the
Clint Eastwood film, which he claims is his last, "
Gran Torino" which brought in
$22.2 Million.
In at
#3 is the horror flick "
My Bloody Valentine 3-D" which brought in a respectable
$21.9 Million.
At
#4 is the hip-hop infused, suprisingly good film, "
Notorious" which brought in
$21.5 Million which was a major accomplishment seeing as it was only playing on half the amount of screens in comparison to the rest of the top five movies.
Fox Searchlight is smiling way big right about now.
Topping out at
#5 is another canine creation "
Hotel for Dogs" which brought in
$17.7 Million. Regarding this silly poster...sometimes Hollywood just takes stuff too far...sigh.
