"Doughboys" is the first film from director Preston Whitmore's (Crossover, This Christmas) 'Give Back Raise Up Program,' through which he finances and produces low-budget pictures showcasing newcomers in front of and behind the camera.The film, which follows four troubled youths and the poor choices they make in the inner city, was penned by Whitmore. It was directed by first-time director Nicholas Harvell. Kudos to Preston for such a positive program.
