Atlanta rapper, T.I. aka Clifford Harris has just signed on for a new reality show that shows his last few weeks leading up to his one year prison sentence. Harris was arrested on October 13, 2007 -the 32n'd time- for having machine guns and silencers. He spent more than six months under house arrest. The show "T.I.'s Road to Redemption," will be based on MTV and will follow T.I. as he aims to give seven at risk youth a wake-up call, according to Reuters.
"I'm saying as much as I can, in whatever way I can, to stop this teen-on-teen violence epidemic, this back and forth nonsense that happens in the inner city all too often," the rapper, 28, told Reuters as he changed the battery on an ankle monitor he has to wear until he enters prison.
Here's to hoping that T.I. gets through to some of these hardheaded youth that seem to be out here trying to outdo his record amount of arrests.
