Samuel L. Jackson continues to prove just why he's such a major player in Hollywood. He's just signed on to star in the indie drama "Rape: A Love Story."
The film will be based on the Joyce Carol Oates novella published in 2003. The story revolves around a mother recovering from a brutal gang rape who is stalked by the perpetrators but is protected by a sympathetic cop (Jackson).
The film is scheduled to begin filming this summer.
