JENNIFER HOLLIDAY GOES "GAY"

For all of my fellow theater lovers out there, you'll be happy to know that The Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles will present a new program entitled BROADWAY! on Saturday, June 27 at 3pm and 8pm and Sunday, June 28 at 3pm at the Alex Theatre in Glendale. Tony Award winner Jennifer Holliday will be the group's special guest for the Saturday evening and Sunday concerts.
The concert will feature songs from such shows as The Lion King, Young Frankenstein, Spring Awakening, Aida, The King & I, Zorba, Milk and Honey, South Pacific, Company, Passion, and Follies.

Holliday won the Tony for the original Broadway production of Dreamgirls, in which she played Effie White. A Grammy Award-winning recording artist, her hit songs have included "Hard Times for Lovers," "I'm on Your Side," and "A Woman's Got the Power."

Tickets for the concert will go on sale on May 1 by calling 818-243-ALEX or by visiting http://www.gmcla.org/.
Sounds like it will be a very colorful event.
