CHRISETTE MICHELE ON LETTERMAN

Okay so this is like my new favorite song. It's like a Country song mixed with R&B and folks that know me know I likes my Country...especially Dolly. Yeah, yeah, yeah Black Hollywood Files...

Chrisette Michele did make an accomplishment this week by coming in at #1 on the Billboard 200 with her new album "Ephiphany" which sold 83,000 copies. Doesn't sound like an awful lot and according to Soundscan, this is the lowest sum for a No. 1 album debuting in it's 18-year history. Go figure...guess the economy is really dragging every business down.

Chrisette's album topped the Hannah Montana: The Movie soundtrack that came in No. 2 with 81,000 and Ciara who came in third with just under 81,000.

I'm really digging Chrisette's new album and you should definitely check it out if you get the chance. (getting off Def Jam soap box now)
