Soon and very soon, we are going to see the King. Well, the King of Pop was laid to rest today in what turned out to be a beautiful memorial service. My head is still throbbing from crying and laughing at all of the speeches and thoughts that were shared today by Michael's friends and family.Although I didn't receive tickets to attend the memorial, I really want to say THANK YOU to Katherine Jackson for allowing all of us to be a part of the celebration of her son's life. What a selfless woman! My heart goes out to Michael's children. I can't imagine the pain and utter shock they are in. Their lives are about to change forever but hopefully the strong family unit that surrounded them today will hold them up and keep them strong.
