FLAVOR FLAV GOES 'BACK TO SCHOOL'

Yeaaahhh Boyeeee! It's about that time folks...time for Flavor Flav to return to TV in a new reality show that sounds quite interesting.

Instead of looking for love on the tube, this time Flav will be doing something to better himself by returning to high school to receive his diploma.

Flav, who dropped out of high school in the 10th grade says about the show, "I just want to show the world it's never too late to get your diploma, and show kids they should stay in school and not wait until you're old to get it." "Everybody sees me as this big love mogul. Now I got a baby girl, I've been there and done that and now it's time for the next episode."

Flav has gotten plenty of big ratings for his well known shows on VH1, including "The Surreal Life," "Strange Love" and three seasons of his dating show "Flavor of Love" (that sadly I worked on). Flav ended up settling down with a woman that he met outside the show.

VH1 thankfully is said to be looking to move away from the saucy dating shows it's most noted for and producer, Ortner, thinks it's the perfect time for Flav to return with a new format.

"It's perfect timing to change the type of show he was going to do and be more message-driven," Ortner said.

"I've been known to be a leader and I've had a lot of followers and there's a certain franchise I've set up on VH1," Flav said. "This show can be big enough to change the direction of reality shows."
This is one reality show that gets the thumbs up from me. Kudos to Flav for getting some conscious programming on board.
