JADA PINKETT-SMITH HEALS THE TUBE

A few weeks ago I posted about Jada Pinkett Smith developing a medical drama pilot set in a fictional hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. Well as of yesterday, Jada's show "Time Heals" got picked up for 10 episodes for TNT.

According to the Hollywood Reporter,"Time Heals," from writer John Masius, Sony TV, 100% Womon Prods., John Masius Prods. and FanFare Prods., centers on Christina Hawthorne (Pinkett Smith), a strong but caring director of nursing at a Charlotte, N.C., hospital.

Most of the pilot's cast members, including David Julian Hirsh, Laura Kenley, Christina Moore and Suleka Mathew, will continue on the series. The pilot was directed by Mikael Salomon.
Masius is exec producing "Time Heals" with Pinkett Smith and Jamie Tarses.

Kudos to Jada for making it happen.
