As I mentioned last week, pilot season is upon us and folks are getting hired left and right. The latest gig goes to Morris Chestnut who is set as a lead in ABC's drama "V."

"V," from WBTV, is a re-do of the original 1980's miniseries about an invasion of aliens known as Visitors and the resistance against them. It will center on a female Homeland Security agent.

Chestnut will play the woman's boyfriend, who has a dark secret -- he is a Visitor.

Chestnut was last seen in the Bill Duke directed film "Not Easily Broken" for which he served as the executive producer.
