Sherri Shepherd is getting in on the pilot action with a pilot for Lifetime. The untitled multicamera comedy would star Shepherd and is loosely based on Shepherd's real life experiences with her philandering husband, his mistress, and his illegitimate child and how she let them all move in with her.
According to THR, after the comedy didn't go at the CW, the script went to Lifetime, which is half-owned by ABC Studios' parent company, Disney.
Shepherd's series credits include a recurring role on "30 Rock" and a co-starring role on the ABC multicamera comedy "Less Than Perfect."
