In at
#1 this weekend as expected is "
Watchmen" which made
$55.7 Million. Lower than the expected
$70 Million but still a decent figure considering the movie was pretty much a snoozefest. Even a totally naked blue man with a rockin bod couldn't keep the film from boring the audience but maybe it's just me.

In at
#2 and seeming to drop off a cliff is
Tyler Perry's comedy "
Madea Goes to Jail" which brought in
$8.8 Million to bring it's total to
$76.5 Million.

Taking third place this week is the thriller "
Taken" which brought in
$7.45 Million.

In fourth place is "
Slumdog Millionaire" which continues to get "
Slumdog Love" with
$6.92 Million to bring it's total to a whopping
$125 Million. So much for it being an indie flick, those are action movie numbers.

Rounding out the top
5 is the film that seems to not want to go away. Or maybe it's just a sign as to how depressed folks really are about the economy since they keep going to see this film, "
Paul Blart: Mall Cop." The film brought in
$4.2 Million dollars this weekend, bringing it's total to
$134 Million.
