Sitting here pondering over Nas and Kelis' impending divorce I began to think about Nas over the years and things he's worked on. This week's Black in the Days friday feature came to mind after a few moments. Ahhhh "Belly"...I remember that the cinematography looked great but the movie however, was not all there.
I will say that I haven't seen it since college so I could watch it tomorrow and feel differently but from what I remember, the film wasn't all that great. Regardless, it was great to see so many black folks in a film that had a budget - something that's darn near impossible to find these days.
