I tell you there is no such thing as off the record these days. Although I am glad that they released this because when they originally posted that he called Kanye' a jackass, it sounded kind of dumb that he would be commenting on Kanye West when there's an idiot in congress named Joe Wilson who just heckled him. But listening to this it was just a conversation like I would be having with my friends and he just said it in passing. It didn't sound as bad as folks were making it seem.
However, I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'd much rather that he call out Joe Wilson as a jackass and pass Healthcare reform than to be commenting on trivial pop culture stuff. Especially when neither Taylor nor Kanye have to worry about pre-existing conditions or how they're gonna pay doctor's bills that sucky insurance doesn't cover.
